Tyranny clowns 9-12-22 is from the series ‘suicidal empathy’ and addresses the recent decline in UK policing, accusations of two-tier policing, online censorship and ‘non-crime hate legislation’

The work is a medium-scale multiple-figure study on canvas in oils using a muted palette contrasting with areas of vibrant color. It is painted with a fluid application of paint, staining, and stripping back allowing earlier paint layers to be visible.
Utilizing bold, expressive brushstrokes, the artist builds layers of texture and emotion. The muted palette gives way to bursts of vibrant colors. Each brushstroke is purposeful, contributing to the overall sense of movement and influenced by post-impressionist painters.

The work is titled and signed on the back and also comes with a certificate of authenticity.
